• Use Red Flag Words/Phrases
• Drop a clue/hint
• Include reaction (What did the character do & think/feel)
• 1st clue- dismiss, 2nd clue- start to worry, 3rd clue- REVELATION!!

Revelations:

On my keyboard, stood a tiny alien child, grasping onto a sword like he was holding on for dear life.

Sitting in the corner, with tears rolling down his cheek, was the rustiest tin-baby I had ever seen. "Don't cry!" I blurted out immediately.

*****Here is mine:
All of the sudden, a high-pitched scream came from the garage. I stopped typing to listen carefully. Not a sound. It's probably just my imagination again.

A moment later, something small, yet quick as a mouse darted right over my toes. I took a deep breath, then slowly leaned over to look underneath the desk. Nothing there. My heart began to race a bit, but I knew I had to get my homework done. Focus!

Without warning, a flash of green darted, then paused before me. I froze in place, as I couldn't believe my eyes. Why me? Is this even possible? On my keyboard, stood a tiny alien child, grasping onto a sword like he was holding on for dear life.
